Par ce commentaire je ne jugerai pas tellement de l'article qui est tout à fait conforme à ce que j'attendais (si ce n'est que des lise à jour du guide sorti en PDF le rende caduque sur certaines choses), mais plutôt sur ma surprise en constatant que malgré le fait que je l'ai commandé en version française, ma commande a été modifiée et Amazon m'a envoyé la version anglaise...que j'avais déjà commandé sur le site anglais en attendant ma VF...Du coup je ne comprend pas, j'avais vu le changement de descriptif mais pensant que c'était juste en attendant la réédition de la VF je ne m'en suis pas inquiété. Et au final c'est bien la version anglaise qui m'a été envoyée sans me demander si ça m'intéressait toujours...En attendant de me décider à le renvoyer ou non (pas déballé du coup) j'aimerai bien avoir des explication de la part d'Amazon ?

With the day one update, or "Crown Update", sections of the guide have been rendered useless. Now, I'm not blaming Piggyback at all, they've even went as far as releasing a free PDF file with changes/additions. No, the blame for that rests on Square & the gaming industry as a whole, and the need to ship games ASAP even if they're incomplete. Day one patches should not be a normal occurrence. But anyways, I'm getting off track.I'm still playing thru FFXV and haven't used the majority of the walkthru section, so I can not comment on that yet. However, sections like Fishing & Cooking are the most incomplete, again because of the update. Cooking only lists 46 recipes instead of 105. Fishing sections list 40 fish instead of 100. The Lure info is highly lacking, and one will spend hours fishing incorrectly if one does not use the free update. I know, it happened to me.Another thing I've noticed is that some of the maps are different compared to the in game map and it becomes even more noticeable when running around looking for items. My brother suggested that maybe the book maps are based off the minimap, which indeed looks different from the low-res world map.Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this at all, no matter how awesome the hardback looks & feels. High quality pages, not cheap & thin paper like, for example, the World of Final Fantasy guide from Prima. Doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart or break the binding when I use it. It's definitely one of the better hardback guides I've bought. I just wish Piggyback would offer a reprint and maybe a trade-in for a guide that included the day one patch stuff.Until this gets a new version, stick to gamefaqs.com.EDIT 12/11/2016: Sadly, after very careful occasional usage the binding has broke. I don't know whether to rate this a 2 or 1 star now.

This hardcover guide was really good for the game. Some may say that because of the continuing update of the game in terms of balance changes and additional content that it is rendered useless but this is not the case. I found that it is awesome for going through the story still, this many months out from release. Additionally, Ive found the maps to be incredibly helpful. It is something nice about having the map in my hand versus trying to look at a pc screen. They also have highlighted the proper routes to take during many moments in quests. Lastly boss strategies remain relevant with weaknesses and drops accurately detailed. Dialogue choices remain relevant as well.Overall I used this guide extensively during my 84 hour playthrough of the game and found the detail of the hunts and weakness and locations, maps, quests, and how to go through stealth missions useful.Awesome collectors item and awesome guide.

Excellent guide for a GREAT game! I chose this version over the paperback one because I am a massive Final Fantasy XV fan and just had to have it. The hardcover version here is of such great quality. Don't let the news of new patches and addendums to this guide keep you from grabbing this guide now at a tremendously good price. The new material will be free to download when it arrives to supplement this guide and it's been stated that there WILL NOT be another printing of this hardcover premium version. So grab it now!

The initial pre-order release copy is literally miss 3 1/2 chapters. They're pretty easy to figure out though. It's chapters 6 through 8. During those chapters I was initially mad since I didn't know the easiest way or the good gear to get. Did i miss a lot of stuff? I probably did. After contacting the company, they recommended I reach out to Amazon. By the time this all went down, I was already out of the missing chapter area and didn't want to go through any hassle. It's a fluke and it sucks it happened but past that the guide is a great resource to the game. Some things are difficult to figure out and descriptions can be extremely vague at times for side quests. I'd recommend getting it if your looking for a strategy guide though.
